Elliott Aviation, a leader in aircraft solutions, has an exciting opportunity for a Summer Avionics Intern at their corporate headquarters in Moline, IL. This is an opportunity for high school or college students with an interest in avionics. Interns can apply educational experience while gaining valuable hands-on experience assisting in various areas of the avionics shop.

This position is a 10-week internship that will start on or around June 1st and continue through August 12th. It is a full-time paid internship. Start and end dates are flexible to your school schedule. Housing may also be available.

Responsibilities of this Position Include:

• Assist to troubleshoot and repair avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft
• Ensure all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector
• Assists with document preparation for record keeping purposes required by company policies and FAA policies.
• Learn, understand, and follow the company work order and parts requisition process.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and efficient work area.
• Assist to repair and calibrate shop equipment as assigned.
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in high school or post-secondary education program
• Previous electrical or aviation experience preferred
• Ability to work full-time for 10 weeks from June through August 2022
• Reliable transportation
