Our Embedded Software Engineering Intern that supports our Calibration Solutions business has responsibility for working closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and test software for our [specific product line,
e.g., automotive control systems, smart home devices].
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of embedded software applications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to define software requirements and specifications.
- Write and maintain code for embedded systems in C/C++.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure software reliability and performance.
- Document software designs and development processes.
- Engage in learning opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in embedded systems.
Qualifications/Education:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Basic understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripherals.
- Familiarity with embedded systems development tools and environments (e.g., Eclipse, Keil, GCC).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous internship or project experience in embedded software development is a plus.
