Job/Internship Description

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a EHS Intern to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.

The key responsibilities of this EHS Intern include, but are not limited to:

  • Projects related to safety, environmental permitting and program development.
  • Help to develop and conduct employee training.
  • Assist in chemical inventory and hazardous waste management.
  • Assist EHS Specialist in other duties as necessary.

The Person

We are hoping to find an intern who has a general knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and ADEQ regulations as well as good communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience/education in Environmental Science, Biology, Environmental Health and Safety, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering or Sustainability is a plus. Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
