The Opportunity

The Salesforce Solution Analyst is a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet Cornell University's evolving needs. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the role involves gathering business requirements, designing custom solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. With an innovative mindset, the analyst drives process improvements and enhances user experience organization-wide. Responsibilities include conducting solution analysis and design, gathering business requirements, data modeling and integration, project coordination, and providing operational support for Salesforce systems.

What We Need

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years working with enterprise Salesforce deployments, preferably in higher education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in business requirements gathering, particularly within higher education and enterprise ecosystems, with a strong emphasis on the Salesforce platform.
  • Expertise in Salesforce administration and customization, particularly in data integration/modeling, automation, and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce administration tools, including data modeling, to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail to ensure project success.
  • Stellar communication and collaboration skills, essential for seamless teamwork across different departments.
  • Background in enterprise IT projects, with a particular emphasis on higher education, Salesforce platform, data integrations, process improvements and leadership.
  • Experience maintaining and supporting enterprise production solutions and promptly resolving production situations.
  • Goal-oriented mindset, driven by a passion for achieving project objectives and exceeding expectations.
