Overview

The Adult and Family Clinical Services Supervisor works in collaboration with the Adult Services Program Manager, department staff, and/or Executive Leadership to coordinate clinical services and related administrative activities on the multidisciplinary program to achieve effective, efficient, and culturally relevant service delivery. This position is responsible for the management and supervision of clinicians and care management staff who provide counseling services to adults who have experienced interpersonal family violence (including adults who were abused as children) as well as clinical staff who provide assessment, brief intervention and linkage with children who have acute trauma responses including suicidality following a multidisciplinary child abuse assessment or who require other peritraumatic service needs

Responsibilities

* Recruits, hires, and retains qualified clinical staff in collaboration with program management.
* Coordinates and provides clinical supervision to team members in accordance with program needs and state regulations.
* Assures staff and program compliance to quality assurance standards and identified quality indicators including competent and timely completion of diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and outcome measures as well as other supportive documentation required for billing or clinical purposes.
* Completes staff performance evaluations in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.
* Completes diagnostic assessment, individual service plan, and provides counseling services in response to goals and objectives determined in this process with adults presenting to TCFSH with concerns related to interpersonal family violence.
* Maintains familiarity with the research literature in areas of expertise and supports research activities relevant to clinical services.

Qualifications

Licensure: Possession of an Ohio license to practice independently with supervisory designation or be a licensed professional clinical counselor (LISW-S or LPCC).

Skills:
* Knowledge of family and relevant treatment interventions to address these concerns.
* Knowledge of community systems that support an effective response for victims of interpersonal family violence.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with leaders within TCFSH and its partners.
* Ability to use sound judgment, make morally correct decisions and utilize authority in doing so.
* Capacity to draft and interpret policies and protocols. Experience: At least 4 years of mental/behavioral health experience with at least 2 years' experience working with domestic violence victims and at least 2 years supervisory experience.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Note frequency as Constantly (67-100%), Frequently (34-66%) and Occasionally (0-33%) for each requirement. Also note any lifting requirements with pound limit.
